MyLeague: Gin

doesn't work here View

Followed all of Fan's "solution". Assuming that IP address is my internet provider, I typed that in, then space, then 8.5.53 etc and clicked "save". Has anyone with Vista been successful ?

  Forget your internet service provider or the IP of your computer, they have nothing to do with the hosts file. In your hosts file there should be a line:
  127.0.0.1 localhost
  What you need to do is make it look like this:
  127.0.0.1 localhost
  8.5.0.53 hoylegames.sierra.com
  Be sure the spelling is correct and be sure that you do not use commas in place of periods. Also as someone did before be sure there isn't a space between hoyle and sierra.

  I am using Vista and Fan's solution worked for me. I just took it step my step...
  Open the C:WINDOWS32driversetc folder and right click on the Hosts file.
  If there is a check mark in the "Read Only" box remove it and then click Apply.
  Now double click on the Hosts file.
  When the dialog box opens and asks you what program you want to use to open it, select Notepad.
  At the bottom of the file starting in the first column and keeping everything on one line enter 8.5.0.53 hoylegames.sierra.com.
  Be sure that there is at least one space between the IP address and the host name.
  Close the Hosts file and save it.
