I would just like to let everyone know that I spent this past weekend, Friday through Sunday, playing in our shuffleboard leagues largest tournament of the year which benefits "The Children's Medical Center Of Dallas", raising funds for Cancer Research for children. I am happy to say that in the leagues 16 years, this was the largest turnout ever with 14 teams...6 players per team. This was only my 2nd year to play in this event and we were able to raise over $8000, upping the amount we were able to raise last year from $6500. And a sidenote, My team placed 3rd. :)

I just thought I would post this because with everything that happened in the past few days, we (including myself) need to remember that there are way more important things in life to deal with then to have to listen to people's small petty disputes, and once again, I would like to apologize to everyone for my actions and words. Life is too precious and too short to worry about the little things. Let's continue to grow and have fun while we play. Let's not forget why we play in the first place...to HAVE FUN ! ! !
