Yesterday, I was informed of a rule change that discourages play. Prior to the rule change, player's with a bye could play a game while waiting for the round that they have a bye in finishes. Now, as soon as a game is finished, even if the remainder of the round, is not yet finished, the TD can call the game. I know that I have been forced to cancel 2 games since Saturday evening because of this rule. If the rule wasn't changed, there would have been at least 2 games played that otherwise wouldn't. If it seemed hard to get a non-tourney game before, this rule change pretty much eliminates them. I thought the idea of a league was to encourage play. Not make rules that discourage them.
