There is a proposed rule change in this ladder's Voting Booth. It concerns the 1 day inactivity rule.Current rule reads:
Members in the Top Ten must play a Ladder match at least once every 1 day; otherwise, you will be automatically dropped five rungs and your inactivity counter is reset. There are no exceptions to this rule.
Proposed Change:
Members in the Top Ten must play a Ladder match at least once every 2 days; otherwise, you will be automatically dropped five rungs and your inactivity counter is reset. There are no exceptions to this rule. (Note: a day is counted as 24 hours – not calendar day.)
Please feel free to post any comments or questions here on what this rule change means. Please be kind in your comments.
You can find the Voting Booth in the left hand navigation menu under the heading "Community."

Some things to note in your discussion:1. All Case's Ladders have an inactivity rule of this sort. This cannot be changed. The only thing that can be changed is how many days it takes to be derunged (moved down the ladder).
2. For purposes of this rule 1 day is 24 hours - not a calendar day.
3. A person is considered active if they play a game or they are derunged for inactivity. Once derunged their inactivity counter is reset to 0 and the count resumes. So a player who is not playing at the moment can be derunged and then they are considered active again as far as this rule is concerned.
4. This ladder has very few players actually playing right now - and all of us are only playing in tournaments. This can easily mean that someone who is not playing might end up in the Top Ten and then get derunged and move up again.
