Dear Senior Staff, we have a situation in our ladder that is requiring an urgent fix from you. A member named ihaveasmileforyou passed away some months ago and was at #15 at that time, and our op tells us that it is procedure to set passed on members a large minus 8 thousand or so idle days to keep them in the ladder, well, unfortunately for us we are very few active players at the moment and also our TD's have had a few issues and so we have not has any tourneys to play in. This is NOT the members fault however, what has happened is our player ihaveasmileforyou has moved up to #! and because she has a HUGE idle days credit, whilst all the rest of us keep cycling down and around when we dont play, ihaveasmileforyou stays at #1. We understand the protocal and the kind thought in keeping passed players on the ladder but they cant be allowed to stay at #1 for 25 years!! That is how long she will stay there with -8K idle days credit. Everyone is in agreement on this. We had a meeting today with our op tlmom_ca, and we all agreed she should be moved to >21 rank which is level with our other recent passed member. The problem there is, she ( tlmom.ca) is actually the one sitting at #2 right now and she is not going to move ihaveasmile as she will be compromised, so she asked me to write to you. Please could someone move ihaveasmileforyou out of the top 20 and let us have some competition again?
