GENERAL RULES!!!
1. The hosting TD will post pairings in the lobby and the first player in the pairings is responsible for making the table. If the first person doesn't sit, their partner may make the table. The teams making the tables have first choice of seats. The top left seat gets the first deal.
2. There is a 3-minute timer from the time the pairings are called. The time used will go toward any other issues, freezing, mia. etc. Once a member has used their time up, they are disqualified.
3. You must have trump in your hand to call/order. The left is allowed as trump.
4. If a card goes back into your hand, you are on your honor not to play it a second time. If you have to because someone led that suit and that's all you have, let the TD know and they will manually keep score. This only applies if it changes the outcome of the hand. Many times it doesn't.
5. We play etiquette rules. No loners on 8 or 9. If you call a loner on 8 or 9 it is "Boo" and the hand will be skipped.
6. If a person gets 2 Boos in a game, the "PERSON" is disqualified and a sub will be used. When playing 2 vs 2 if a "TEAM" has 2 Boos in a game,
the team is disqualified. Boos do not carry over to another round.
7. If a boo occurs, the TD should be notified. The person to the left of the person making the boo has the option of 1 or 2 skips or play on.
8. NO BOOs in the finals, excluding subs. This will result in a disqualification.
9. There is a 3 minute timer for all MIAs , frozen and includes getting to the table after which time they will be disqualified. If they have already received a timer to get to a table, that time will be deducted from the 3minute timer.
10. All Teams in 2 vs 2 tournies MUST be made 5 minutes prior to the start of the tourney. Only Autos will be allowed after that time. New teams made will be removed.
11. In any game where you have to say "Got It" and the TD is required to check the hand, you must say "Got It" before you play your first card.
