Behavior in the game room

Tourney Paradise (Paradise), is a PG-13 Rated League. Even though the majority of our members are over 18, in accordance to MyLeague rules, we allow members beginning at age 13 to join our league.

Because of this rating , we must ask everyone to use common sense in lobby chat. Fun flirting, hugs, kisses, etc., are all acceptable. Innuendos too are considered acceptable. Open sexual comments and/or foul language is NEVER acceptable

Harassment of any kind towards any player is not acceptable. There is no reason why everyone can't come to the Tourney Paradise room on World Gaming Center and feel comfortable. If you have issues with anyone the best thing to do is ignore them. Mute them if you must. Harassing and rude e-mails or IM's are included.

Good Sportsmanship is always a priority. It is considered sportsmanlike to use such terms as GG = Good Game, HI GL = Hi & Good Luck, N1 = nice 1, NH = Nice Hand, etc. Using these terms makes for a more pleasant tourney and all around nicer environment for everyone. We can not require you to use them, but we do encourage this. Please keep all personal issues outside of the game room and open chat.

Tournament Directors

The Tournament Director (TD) is in charge of the lobby at all times while running his/her tour.

It will be the TD that decides what is and what is not acceptable behavior. We must insist that you respect the TDs decision. Under no circumstances may a player be rude to a TD or to any player.

Please note, our Tournament Directors, HTDs and ADMIN (collectively, the "Staff") are held to a higher standard of responsibility at all times. They are all volunteers and deserve your respect and thanks for their time, just as players can expect the same from the Staff.

Paradise was formed to be a peaceful, friendly fun place for everyone to play cribbage and enjoy the company of others. For this reason, we ask you not to harass or attack players or the Staff at any time. If you have a disagreement of any type or dispute with anyone, please take it to a table, Private Message or Messenger (MSN, Yahoo, Etc.). You may call the TD to the table to assist in settling a game related disagreement. The decision of the TD will be considered FINAL. If anyone becomes disruptive in the lobby, the TD will handle this, or if need be, Gaming Safarie staff will be called in to remove the offender.

Rules

The rules for Cases Ladder and Myleague are clearly outlined under the link "Rules" on the main page.

We do allow watching during matches. Please respect those playing and make sure that neither of them mind your watching. Remember too, limit your chat while watching.

We expect that any player reaching the number 1 spot on the ladder to play as frequently once in that position as they did before reaching it. Failure to do so will result in that player being rung 5 places. We also expect that the number 1 player should be sporting enough to offer to play ladder games, or agree to do so if asked by another player. We accept that there may be occasions when a player will be unable to agree to play ladder games for a good reason, but after three refusals for any reason whatsoever that player will be rung 5 places.

Paradise was formed by friends for friends with all welcome to join, however there are times when situations arise for whatever reason and must be handled by a member of the Staff. Your league ADMINS will handle any incidents as they occur and the following penalties will be instituted:

First offense - Warning

Second offense - Boxed for 3 to 7 days

Third offense - Boxed for 10 days

Fourth offense - Removed from league

These are suggested guidelines and depending on the severity of the offense, the Admin team will act accordingly. The player will be notified by email of any penalty imposed by the Admin. If a player is not happy with any decision made by the Admin, we ask that you either email or take it to the Admin at a table, PM or Messenger, and respect the players in the lobby and/or playing. Paradise is known as the league of 2^{nd chances, you may be pleasantly surprised what can come when two people think calmly.}

As with everything in life, we, the Staff of Paradise, are, after all, human. Because of this, yes, even we make mistakes. We ask that if we do, you give us the opportunity to make the correction or resolve the issue with as little disruption in the lobby as possible. This policy applies to all members and staff of Tourney Paradise.
